About the Role We are seeking an experienced F5 Engineer to design, implement, administer, and support enterprise F5 BIG-IP application delivery and traffic management platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities • Administer and maintain enterprise F5 BIG-IP platforms across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. • Configure and manage Virtual IPs (VIPs), pools, health monitors, persistence, profiles, and iRules. • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Perform platform upgrades, hotfixes, vulnerability remediation, capacity planning, and scheduled maintenance. • Manage SSL/TLS certificates, renewals, synchronization, and security configurations. • Support application onboarding and collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and application teams. • Implement and support F5 solutions in hybrid and cloud environments, including AWS and/or Azure. • Integrate F5 platforms with WAF, firewalls, network segmentation, and other security controls. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, operational runbooks, and build guides. Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP administration, configuration, and troubleshooting. • Experience designing and managing F5 solutions in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments. • Knowledge of application resiliency, blue-green deployments, canary releases, and traffic steering. • Experience integrating F5 with WAF, firewalls, and enterprise security controls. • Strong automation skills using Ansible, Python, Bash, and REST APIs. • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD integration. • Experience supporting high-availability environments, SSL/TLS services, and business-critical applications. • Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
