About the Role We are looking for an experienced Firmware Developer to join our team, focusing on embedded systems and firmware development for RDK-based devices. Key Responsibilities • Develop firmware for RDK-based devices including set-top boxes, broadband gateways, routers, and IoT devices • Perform board bring-up, BSP customization, and bootloader implementation • Implement secure boot mechanisms and OTA updates • Troubleshoot and test firmware functionality Requirements • 8–10 years of experience in firmware development • Strong expertise in C++, Python, and Perl • Experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto/Buildroot) and RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr) • Knowledge of communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, TCP/IP • Experience with RDK-based device development • Familiarity with ISO 26262, IEC 62304, and MISRA C/C++ standards
