About the Role We are seeking a GCP API Modernization Engineer to lead the migration of approximately 230 containerized .NET APIs from on-prem Cloud Foundry to Google Cloud Run. This role requires strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, and .NET application modernization. Key Responsibilities • Migrate containerized .NET APIs from Cloud Foundry to Google Cloud Run • Utilize Schwab-approved Terraform modules for infrastructure as code • Configure and deploy applications into the GCP environment • Make necessary .NET changes/refactoring for compatibility with GCP/Cloud Run • Stand up cloud infrastructure and migrate pilot applications Requirements • 10+ years of experience with GCP and Terraform • Strong background in application modernization and deployment • Experience with .NET applications and containerized environments • Familiarity with Cloud Foundry and GKE • Ability to work with provided Terraform modules rather than free-form development • Local to Dallas TX or Austin TX for in-person interviews and potential on-site work
