About the Role We are seeking a Healthcare Java Developer for a long-term contract position in Quincy, MA. This role requires extensive experience with healthcare data integration and interface analysis. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement healthcare data interfaces using Java • Develop and maintain REST APIs and SOAP web services • Work with HL7, FHIR, and EDI/X12 healthcare data standards • Implement secure file transfers and data encryption • Troubleshoot API issues and monitor system performance • Collaborate with stakeholders on technical requirements Requirements • 8+ years of IT experience with Interface Analysis and Data Integration • Strong experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, and XSD • Expertise in HL7, FHIR, EDI/X12 healthcare standards • SQL and database validation skills • Experience with Medicaid, MMIS, Health Insurance, or Healthcare Systems • Familiarity with API monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Datadog • Linux/Unix environment experience • Encryption and security controls knowledge • Agile/Scrum methodologies experience • SDLC documentation and technical specifications skills
