About the Role We are looking for an experienced HEDIS Business Systems Analyst with strong healthcare domain knowledge to support HEDIS reporting, quality improvement, and healthcare data analysis. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for HEDIS reporting and quality measurement initiatives • Work closely with business stakeholders, healthcare analysts, data teams, and quality improvement teams • Analyze healthcare data to support HEDIS measures, performance reporting, and compliance requirements • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Support data validation, gap analysis, root cause analysis, and issue resolution • Collaborate with technical teams on data mapping, report development, and testing • Participate in requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and UAT • Ensure deliverables align with applicable HEDIS specifications and healthcare quality reporting standards Requirements • Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in healthcare • Strong understanding of HEDIS measures and healthcare quality reporting • Experience with healthcare data analysis, requirements documentation, and process mapping • SQL skills for data validation and analysis • Experience with functional testing, UAT, and defect tracking • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills • Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, Medicare, or Medicaid is a plus Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with health plans or healthcare quality improvement teams • Familiarity with NCQA HEDIS specifications and healthcare quality measures • Experience with claims, enrollment, provider, and clinical data • Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
