About the Role We are seeking an IT Specialist with expertise in Desktop Engineering to join our team in New York. This role involves managing enterprise IT support and desktop engineering tasks. Key Responsibilities • Provide 7+ years of experience in Desktop Engineering and enterprise IT support • Troubleshoot hardware and operating systems, particularly Windows 11 • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Group Policy Preferences • Implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions • Handle Windows imaging, application packaging, deployment, and release management • Create and maintain PowerShell and VBScript scripts • Apply knowledge of networking concepts including DHCP, VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls • Configure VPN, VDI, 2FA, network printing, and troubleshoot remote access • Ensure endpoint security, antivirus, PKI, hard drive encryption, and cybersecurity compliance • Manage tickets, documentation, prioritization, and advanced troubleshooting Requirements • 7+ years of experience in Desktop Engineering and enterprise IT support • Strong experience with Windows 11, Intel workstations, hardware, and operating system troubleshooting • Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and Group Policy Preferences • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions • Experience with Windows imaging, application packaging, deployment, and release management • Proficiency in PowerShell and VBScript scripting • Knowledge of networking concepts, including DHCP, VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls • Experience with VPN, VDI, 2FA, network printing, and remote access troubleshooting • Knowledge of endpoint security, antivirus, PKI, hard drive encryption, and cybersecurity compliance • Strong ticket management, documentation, prioritization, and advanced troubleshooting skills • Relevant Microsoft Windows certification preferred
