About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Automation Developer to join our team in Michigan. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Java, with a focus on contract-to-hire position. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java. • Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and/or backend applications. • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders. • Identify, document, and track software defects. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. • Analyze test results and troubleshoot automation failures. • Improve and maintain existing automation frameworks and test suites. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to overall quality initiatives. • Support continuous integration and automated testing processes. Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Java. • Experience in SDET, QAAutomation, or JavaAutomationDevelopment. • Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and tools. • Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC. • Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
