About the Role We are seeking a Java AWS Developer for a long-term contract position in Atlanta, GA. This role requires 12+ years of experience and the ability to be on-site from day one. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and resilient microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Develop and deploy microservices • Integrate microservices with Kafka for real-time data streaming • Implement and maintain AWS cloud-based solutions • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features • Work on the entire software development lifecycle Requirements • 12+ years of experience in Java development • Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOPS concepts, Java collections, and exception handling • Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and other Spring-related frameworks • Experience with relational databases like Oracle and advanced SQL • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/Bitbucket, and build tools like Maven/Gradle • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and practices • Excellent oral and written communication skills
