About the Role We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our client's team in New York. This is an 18-month contract with the opportunity to convert to a full-time employee based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building enterprise Java applications. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications • Develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and best practice implementation • Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and scalability Requirements • 8–10 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices • Strong expertise in REST APIs, Hibernate/JPA, SQL, and NoSQL databases • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
