About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Java Developer to build and enhance a scalable, high-performance automated locates platform for its securities finance business. Key Responsibilities • Build and enhance a scalable, high-performance automated locates platform • Utilize strong Java development skills and expertise in distributed systems • Apply hands-on experience in the financial services industry Requirements • 8–10 years of experience in Java development • Expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native technologies • Financial domain experience in Equities, Hedge Funds, Asset Management, Trading, Brokerage, or Securities Finance • Proficiency in Core Java & Spring Framework • Experience with Microservices Architecture • Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes • SQL, MS SQL Server & MySQL skills • Familiarity with Kafka, MQ, AWS SQS & SNS • Redis Caching experience • AWS Cloud Services knowledge • Understanding of High-Performance Applications • Experience with GitHub Copilot / Claude AI-Assisted Development
