About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in backend development, cloud-native architecture, AWS infrastructure, and modern frontend technologies. This opportunity is ideal for engineers who can independently design, develop, deploy, troubleshoot, and demonstrate end-to-end solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable cloud-native microservices • Build and deploy applications on AWS ECS and Fargate • Integrate mobile SDKs with backend services • Troubleshoot complex end-to-end integration issues • Develop rapid POCs and AI-enabled solutions • Independently manage development, deployment, and technical demonstrations Requirements • Must be local to O'Fallon, MO, or the surrounding St. Louis metropolitan area • Must be comfortable with a hybrid work arrangement • Strong hands-on engineering experience is mandatory • Direct C2C candidates accepted only when represented by their direct employer/visa-holding company • Backend: Java, Golang, Python / FastAPI • Frontend: Angular and/or React • Cloud: AWS, ECS, Fargate, Graviton (ARM64) • Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation • Architecture: Microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems • AI Technologies: Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore (preferred) • Integration: Mobile SDKs, backend APIs, payment orchestration
