About the Role We are looking for a Java Lead Developer to join our team in Omaha, NE. This is a long-term contract position requiring 12-16 years of experience. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot • Design and implement microservices and REST APIs • Work with databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL • Implement multithreading and concurrency solutions • Utilize messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, and JMS • Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and containerization • Manage cloud infrastructure and monitoring systems Requirements • Strong Java (JDK 11/17+) and Spring Boot experience • Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MySQL • Knowledge of multithreading and concurrency • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS • DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools
