About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Software Developer to support South Carolina’s Medicaid Web Portal and EDI services. Key Responsibilities • Support South Carolina’s Medicaid Web Portal and EDI services • Develop and maintain Java applications • Work with healthcare EDI transactions Requirements • 7+ years of experience with Java, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery • 5+ years of experience with healthcare EDI transactions (270/271, 276/277, 837) • 5+ years of experience with MongoDB • Experience with web services, JDBC, SQL, and distributed systems Preferred Qualifications • Medicaid / MMIS experience • Medicaid eligibility systems experience • Experience with Unix/Linux, Apache Tomcat, ActiveMQ, and UC4 Important Note Candidates must currently reside in South Carolina. Relocation is not permitted.
