About the Role Apple is seeking a Java Software Engineer with Clojure expertise to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a long-term contract position requiring onsite presence from Day 1. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and backend systems • Implement solutions using Java and Clojure • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges Requirements • 10–12+ years of experience in software engineering • 10+ years of experience with Java • 5+ years of experience with Cloud Computing • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Clojure • Experience with cloud networking concepts and technologies • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Strong academic background from reputed institutions preferred • Established LinkedIn profile (created before 2015–2017) preferred Relocation candidates are welcome, provided they can work onsite in Sunnyvale from Day 1.
