About the Role We are looking for a Lead Data Modeler to join our team. This role requires strong technical leadership and expertise in data modeling across various database types. Key Responsibilities • Lead and guide technical team members • Review, evaluate, and improve other people's work • Influence technical decisions and collaborate across teams • Work independently when requirements are incomplete • Take ownership and drive results Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery • 3–6+ years of data modeling and database design • Experience with relational, streaming, graph, key-value, and document data modeling • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL, including OLTP schema design • Kafka event schema design using Avro/Protobuf and Schema Registry • Advanced SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning • Experience with erwin Data Modeler, ER/Studio, SQLDBM, or equivalent modeling tools • Knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling • Understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, SCD patterns, partitioning, and clustering Note: Leadership experience is mandatory for this position.
