About the Role We are looking for a senior Data Science leader who specializes in mathematical optimization, Operations Research, and large-scale decision systems. This role focuses on building intelligent systems that determine truck routing, workforce scheduling, and resource allocation across complex operational networks. Key Responsibilities • Develop and own large-scale MILP/MIP, VRP, and constraint programming systems • Work with Gurobi, CPLEX, and OR-Tools • Integrate ML forecasting with optimization for proactive planning • Deploy scalable optimization solutions using Azure and Databricks • Lead and mentor a technical team while remaining hands-on • Explain optimization trade-offs and business impact to executive stakeholders Requirements • 10+ years in Data Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field • 3+ years of team leadership or mentoring experience • Proven production deployment of optimization models — not just POCs • Expert Python and SQL skills • Strong mathematical optimization and problem-solving expertise • Hands-on experience with optimization solvers such as Gurobi, CPLEX, or OR-Tools Nice to Have • Master’s or PhD in Operations Research, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field • Logistics or supply chain optimization experience • Apache Spark, simulation, or Reinforcement Learning (RL)
