About the Role We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist for a remote position in the United States. This role requires extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and healthcare analytics. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement machine learning models for healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance risk analysis • Lead end-to-end model development, deployment, monitoring, and governance • Optimize models for explainability, calibration, and performance • Utilize Python, SQL, and ML frameworks like scikit-learn, XGBoost, and GBM • Implement MLOps practices on AWS or similar cloud platforms Requirements • 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or Actuarial Analytics • Mandatory healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance risk experience • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, scikit-learn, XGBoost, or GBM • Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques • Production ML/MLOps experience on AWS or comparable cloud platform • Ability to own models end to end, including deployment, monitoring, retraining, and governance
