About the Role We are seeking a Lead Engineer to join our Product and Platform Engineering team. This role requires 5 to 7 years of front-end or full-stack engineering experience with strong hands-on skills in React and TypeScript. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express • Build reusable components, micro frontends, and design systems • Review code and mentor other developers • Provide production support, including on-call response for critical incidents • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies • Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitor application performance Requirements • 5 to 7 years of front-end or full-stack engineering experience • Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript • Production experience with React Native for iOS and Android builds • Experience with Redux or similar state management • Knowledge of Node.js, REST API integration, and Redis • Familiarity with front-end tooling: Vite or Webpack, npm or pnpm, Sass, ESLint, Prettier, Jest, Testing Library, and Storybook • Experience with CI/CD (GitLab preferred), AWS, and monitoring tools such as Datadog • Experience with Jira and agile delivery • Clear communication skills and ability to work with onshore stakeholders • Willingness to participate in on-call support for Sev 1 incidents AI Literacy • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience • AI literacy is required, with familiarity in using AI tools in software development and reviewing AI-generated code
