About the Role We are seeking a Lead .Net Software Engineer to join our team in Trenton, NJ. This role involves modernizing legacy systems by converting COBOL and JCL code to C#/.NET and migrating databases to PostgreSQL. Key Responsibilities • Convert ~1.5M lines of COBOL and ~160K lines of JCL to C#/.NET • Migrate an IDS-II hierarchical database to PostgreSQL • Deploy applications on AWS • Refactor converted code into clean, maintainable, high-performance, production-grade C#/.NET • Define data-access architecture using Entity Framework Core against PostgreSQL • Set engineering standards for the team • Safeguard functional equivalence to the legacy system Requirements • Experience with C# and .NET Core • Knowledge of Entity Framework Core and PostgreSQL • Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native development • Experience with mainframe modernization and legacy system migration • Strong understanding of software architecture and data access architecture • Ability to lead and mentor team members
