About the Role We are looking for a Mainframe Developer to join our team working on the NJ Treasury DORES Taxation ITS modernization initiative. This role involves supporting critical government projects including STAY NJ, ANCHOR, and Senior Freeze. Key Responsibilities • Work on mainframe application development, maintenance, and debugging • Provide production support for batch and online applications • Troubleshoot job failures, abend issues, and perform root cause analysis • Handle data feeds, file layouts, system integrations, and technical documentation Requirements • 5+ years of experience with COBOL and JCL • 5+ years of experience with TSO/ISPF or similar mainframe tools • 3+ years of experience with NATURAL/ADABAS • 3+ years of experience with AFP, PAGEDEF, FORMDEF, and OVERLAY • Strong experience in mainframe application development, maintenance, debugging, and production support • Experience with batch and online applications, job failures, abend troubleshooting, and root cause analysis • Knowledge of data feeds, file layouts, system integrations, and technical documentation Preferred Qualifications • Government, taxation, or revenue systems experience • CICS and online transaction processing • Legacy system modernization and data migration
