About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled MCP Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and integrations supporting AI-powered applications and intelligent automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy MCP servers using Python and MCP SDKs. • Build MCP tools, resources, and prompts for enterprise AI applications. • Integrate MCP servers with LLM-based applications and AI agents. • Develop RESTful APIs and backend microservices using Python and FastAPI. • Implement secure access to enterprise APIs, databases, and internal services. • Support MCP client-server interactions, tool discovery, and tool execution. • Implement authentication, authorization, secrets management, and audit logging. • Integrate with AWS services and enterprise cloud infrastructure. • Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for MCP integrations. • Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, security, and production integration issues. • Collaborate with AI engineering teams to support agentic AI workflows. Requirements • Strong hands-on Python development experience. • Practical implementation of Model Context Protocol (MCP). • Experience building MCP servers and exposing tools/resources. • Experience with MCP SDKs, including FastMCP or the official Python MCP SDK. • Strong REST API development experience using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks. • Hands-on LLM integration experience. • Understanding of MCP transports, including stdio and Streamable HTTP. • Experience with JSON Schema and structured tool inputs/outputs. • Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, token-based authentication, and API security. • Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployments.
