About the Role We are seeking an experienced MS SQL Database Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining SQL Server databases with a focus on high availability and performance. Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases • Ensure high availability and performance of databases • Implement and manage SQL clustering, mirroring, and other high availability solutions • Write and optimize Transact SQL • Install, upgrade, patch, and migrate SQL Server databases • Work with large SQL databases • Utilize SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS • Gain experience with Azure Cloud, Snowflake, and Databricks Requirements • Expertise working as a SQL Server DBA • Experience with SQL clustering, mirroring, and high availability • Experience working with large SQL databases • Expertise in writing Transact SQL • Experience tuning SQL Server databases • Expertise in installing, upgrading, patching, and migrating SQL Server databases • Experience working on a Windows platform • Exposure to SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS • Experience working with Azure Cloud • At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server database • At least 1 year of Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks experience (a certification is acceptable in lieu of experience) • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other applicable and/or equivalent skills, knowledge, and/or work history • Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively using standard requirements and design artifacts Desired knowledge of and experience with the following technologies: • SQL Server 2019+ • Cloud databases (Azure, Snowflake, and/or Databricks)
