About the Role We are seeking a MySQL Database Administrator to join our team. This role involves supporting production database environments and ensuring high availability and performance. Key Responsibilities • Manage MySQL installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching • Implement and maintain MySQL replication and High Availability solutions • Handle backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and point-in-time recovery • Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing • Develop and maintain strong SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions • Utilize database monitoring tools such as PMM, MySQL Enterprise Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana • Manage database security, user/privilege management, and auditing • Provide production database support and incident management Requirements • 5+ years of hands-on experience in MySQL Database Administration in production environments • Strong SQL skills and experience with stored procedures, functions, and triggers • Experience with database monitoring tools • Knowledge of database security and auditing • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field Benefits • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge database technologies • Remote work environment • Competitive salary based on experience
