About the Role We are seeking a .NET Developer for a 24-month contract position with the State of CA. This role requires extensive experience in developing web-based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop web-based applications using Microsoft .NET and associated technologies • Develop web applications using MVC architecture • Develop web applications using C# and object-oriented concepts • Create user interfaces for web applications using jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and XML • Develop testing utilities for web applications to support unit and system integration testing • Design and develop web-based applications using Microsoft SQL Server • Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures • Implement automated testing based on manual test cases and business requirements • Create shared libraries of test steps for cross-application test suites • Develop tools to enhance automated testing adoption • Support and evangelize automated regression testing practices Requirements • At least 13 years of experience as a .NET Developer • Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, C#, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and SQL Server • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming • Experience with database design and SQL queries • Experience with automated testing and test suite development
