About the Role We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team at Vizon Inc. This role involves designing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise networks to ensure optimal performance and security. Key Responsibilities • Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks • Monitor network availability, performance, and connectivity • Investigate network incidents and perform root cause analysis • Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections • Maintain network documentation and configuration backups • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to improve reliability Requirements • 2-6 years of experience in network engineering • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting, and routing • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and network devices • Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, and network security fundamentals • Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and Nagios • Understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN, load balancing, and troubleshooting • Knowledge of network automation using Python or Ansible is a plus
