About the Role We are seeking an Oracle APEX & Forms Developer for a long-term contract position. This role involves analyzing, migrating, and modernizing legacy Oracle Forms applications to Oracle APEX, as well as designing and developing user-friendly APEX interfaces. Key Responsibilities • Analyze existing Oracle Forms applications, data structures, architecture, and integrations • Migrate and modernize legacy Oracle Forms applications to Oracle APEX • Design and develop user-friendly APEX interfaces and establish UI/UX standards • Develop and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and complex SQL queries • Perform SQL debugging, performance tuning, data analysis, and testing • Implement application security, roles, and authorization models • Integrate web services and support Oracle database applications • Participate in requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production support • Prepare technical and functional documentation, reports, and weekly status updates • Support release management, production deployments, and knowledge transfer to IT staff Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field • 5+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using Oracle APEX • Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, preferably Oracle Database 19c • Experience with Oracle SQL Developer and/or TOAD • Strong understanding of database design and data modeling • Experience integrating web services • Experience with SQL performance tuning, debugging, and testing in Oracle and SQL Server • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
