About the Role We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support critical enterprise database environments across development, test, and production systems. Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain Oracle databases across development, test, and production environments • Perform proactive monitoring, daily health checks, and database maintenance • Troubleshoot database issues and implement performance improvements • Optimize SQL queries and ensure database stability and availability • Manage database patching, backup, recovery, security, and integrity • Perform capacity planning and establish database best practices • Collaborate with application owners, developers, architects, and technical leadership • Participate in an on-call rotation approximately once every six weeks Requirements • 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA • Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP, or similar platforms • Strong SQL tuning and query optimization skills • Database performance troubleshooting and optimization • Database health checks, monitoring, and routine administration • Expertise in database backup, recovery, maintenance, and performance management • Experience supporting large enterprise environments Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Oracle database migrations and upgrades • Team leadership or team management experience • Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, roadmapping, and budgeting • Familiarity with database maintenance contracts and operational planning
