About the Role We are looking for an experienced Palantir Foundry Application Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role requires extensive experience in data and application development, with a focus on Palantir Foundry. Key Responsibilities • Build operational applications on Palantir Foundry • Develop and maintain Foundry Pipelines, Code Workbooks/Repositories • Implement data ingestion processes for batch, micro-batch, and streaming data • Ensure data quality through checks, lineage, testing, and CI/CD • Conduct code reviews and manage version control • Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and messaging systems Requirements • 10+ years of professional experience in data/application development • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry • Strong knowledge of Foundry Ontology, including Objects, Properties, Actions, and Interactions • Proficiency in PySpark and SQL • Experience with data quality checks, lineage, testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and version control • Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, integrations, and messaging systems • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
