About the Role We are actively seeking a hands-on Platform Infrastructure & Network Engineer to build, engineer, and optimize a Tier-1 multi-tenant platform for cloud-hosted virtualized network services across global Equinix POPs. This role requires deep expertise in virtualization and infrastructure layers, deploying and configuring OpenStack, OpenShift (Kubernetes), and virtualized/containerized network functions (VNFs/CNFs). Key Responsibilities • Build, engineer, and optimize a Tier-1 multi-tenant platform for cloud-hosted virtualized network services • Deploy and configure OpenStack, OpenShift (Kubernetes), and virtualized/containerized network functions (VNFs/CNFs) • Ensure high-speed WAN reachability and redundant jump-host access • Implement multi-tenant compute isolation and hardening Requirements • 12+ years of hands-on OpenStack & OpenShift Infrastructure experience • Experience deploying, hosting, and operationalizing virtual and containerized network functions (VNFs/CNFs) • Knowledge of high-speed fabric & Layer 2 overlays (Leaf/spine fabrics up to 100G/400G, VXLAN-based overlays) • Resilient network engineering skills (WAN reachability, redundant jump-host access, AVPN, IPsec tunnels) • Multi-tenant compute isolation & hardening experience Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on experience with SONiC Enterprise network operating systems • Direct experience deploying inside Equinix colocation environments • Familiarity with in-memory caching/state layers (Redis) and emerging GPU/DPU compute integration
