About the Role We are seeking a Power BI Architect to join our team for a direct client. This role involves designing and implementing Power BI solutions for enterprise reporting. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Power BI solutions using Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling • Develop SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and reporting • Manage Power BI architecture, governance, security (RLS), and Power Platform administration • Validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot data issues • Migrate Tableau/Crystal Reports to Power BI • Gather requirements and engage with stakeholders • Create technical documentation and deliver user training Requirements • 5+ years of Power BI experience with Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling • 5+ years of SQL development experience including query optimization and stored procedures • 5+ years of Azure SQL/SQL Server experience for enterprise reporting solutions • Experience with Power BI architecture, governance, security (RLS), and Power Platform administration • Strong skills in data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis • Experience migrating Tableau/Crystal Reports to Power BI • Proven experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and technical documentation • Experience delivering user training and knowledge transfer • Government, Higher Education, Financial Services, or Lending domain experience preferred
