About the Role We are seeking a Power BI Developer for a 12+ month contract position in Monrovia, CA with a hybrid work model. This role requires extensive experience in BI and data analytics, with a focus on Power BI development. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models • Collaborate on ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Oracle • Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions • Optimize report performance and manage BI governance, security, and compliance • Gather requirements and present insights to business stakeholders Requirements • 8+ years of experience in BI/Data Analytics • 5+ years of experience in Power BI Development • Expert-level DAX and Power Query (M) • Strong data modeling and dashboard development skills • Advanced SQL—complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning • Power BI Service administration experience • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric • Proven experience leading or mentoring developers • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Python familiarity • CI/CD for BI deployments using Azure DevOps and Git • Microsoft certifications: PL-300 / DP-600
