About the Role We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer for a 100% remote, W2 contract opportunity. This role requires strong expertise in Power BI development, DAX, SQL, and modern cloud data platforms. Key Responsibilities • Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models • Translate business requirements into effective reporting and visualization solutions • Connect Power BI to Azure Databricks, Data Lakehouse, or modern cloud data platforms • Manage Power BI Service, including workspaces, deployment pipelines, scheduled refreshes, and security Requirements • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models • Strong proficiency in DAX, including measures, calculated columns, time intelligence, and advanced analytical functions • Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and Star Schema design principles • Experience connecting Power BI to Azure Databricks, Data Lakehouse, or modern cloud data platforms • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation • Hands-on experience with Power BI Service • Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting and visualization solutions • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
