About the Role We are looking for an experienced Power BI developer to join a short contract project for a humanitarian logistics organization. The role involves taking business intelligence reports from prototype to production and setting up proper governance and deployment processes. Key Responsibilities • Finish and polish a set of prototype Power BI reports for production readiness • Set up separate development, test, and production environments in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric • Build deployment pipelines and set up version control for reports and datasets • Implement data governance including access, security, naming, refresh schedules, and documentation • Publish and manage reports through a SharePoint portal used by outside partners • Hand off clean documentation and train the client's team Requirements • At least 3 years of hands-on Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI deployment pipelines, and version control such as Git • Working knowledge of SharePoint and the Power Platform • Experience setting up BI governance and security • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Benefits • Project-based remote work • Initial engagement of 10 to 15 days in November and December 2026 • Possible extension of 20 to 30 days between February and June 2027
