About the Role We are seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as managing data pipelines and optimizing performance. Key Responsibilities • Gather business requirements and translate them into effective data models, reports, and dashboards • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and paginated reports • Build efficient data models and optimize DAX calculations • Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and ADF pipelines • Perform data analysis and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy • Optimize report performance using query folding, aggregations, and incremental refresh • Manage Power BI Service deployments, scheduled refreshes, gateways, and access controls • Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and support runbooks • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, DBAs, and application teams Requirements • 8+ years of experience in Power BI development • Strong SQL and Paginated Reports experience • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory • Expertise in DAX for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs • Experience developing interactive reports and dashboards using visuals, slicers, drill-throughs, and bookmarks • Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and report performance optimization • Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills • Experience managing workspaces, apps, access permissions, scheduled refreshes, and gateways
