About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer to drive enterprise-wide AI adoption, modern software architecture, and full-stack engineering excellence. This is a Director-level individual contributor role focused on technical leadership, architectural decisions, innovation, and influencing engineering teams without direct people management. Key Responsibilities • Champion AI adoption across technology teams • Design and deliver scalable, production-ready agentic AI solutions • Drive frontend, backend, e-commerce, and mobile application architecture • Influence stakeholders and establish engineering standards without direct management authority Requirements • 10+ years of software engineering experience across frontend and backend • Strong AI Tooling & Agentic AI Experience • Experience with Claude and AI-assisted engineering workflows • Frontend: React, Next.js, Micro Frontends, SPAs, Component-Driven Architecture • CMS: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or experience with other CMS platforms • Backend: Node.js, Fastify, GraphQL Federation, Schema Design, Java Services • Databases & Caching: MongoDB, Redis, API Performance Optimization • Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Kubernetes, Containers, GitHub Actions, CI/CD • Security: DevSecOps, SOX Compliance, and Security Standards • Performance: Core Web Vitals, SSR/SSG, Lazy Loading, Bundle Optimization, Observability • Architecture: Design Systems, Governance, Engineering Standards, and Cross-Team Adoption Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Miami, FL; relocation is open.
