About the Role We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive the development of a cutting-edge test designed to identify clinically actionable mutations in patients with solid tumors. This role will bridge the gap between software development, bioinformatics, clinical genomics, and regulatory teams to deliver compliant, innovative software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Own and execute the product roadmap for NGS bioinformatics pipelines and supporting software • Prioritize and manage the backlog, defining epics, user stories, and functional requirements in JIRA and Confluence • Collaborate with Clinical Development, Laboratory Operations, Medical Affairs, and Engineering teams • Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) and guide SDLC processes • Ensure pipeline adherence to cancer genomics guidelines (CAP, AMP, FDA, and CLIA standards) • Oversee whole genome, whole exome, and transcriptomics workflows alongside data scientists • Drive Computer Systems Validation (CSV) and FDA regulatory compliance documentation Requirements • 2+ years of professional experience as a Product Owner in bioinformatics, clinical genomics, or oncology software • Strong background in Bioinformatics, Cancer Genomics, and NGS Data Analysis (WGS, WES, Transcriptomics) • Knowledge of NGS tools, workflows, and cloud-based orchestration (AWS HealthOmics, Nextflow) • Familiarity with FDA regulatory requirements for genomics software and CSV • Exceptional requirement-gathering, communication, and task-prioritization mindset
