About the Role We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage project planning, scheduling, documentation, stakeholder communication, risk management, financial tracking, and project closeout activities. Key Responsibilities • Maintain project documentation and organize artifacts in the State-designated repository. • Develop and update project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and task completion reports. • Prepare weekly project status reports using the State’s Project and Portfolio Management Tool (PPMT). • Maintain risk and issue logs, recommend mitigation strategies, and facilitate monthly risk review meetings. • Coordinate project activities, including procurement and stakeholder engagement. • Lead project meetings, including status reviews, backlog grooming, release planning, and risk/issue discussions. • Prepare meeting agendas at least 24 hours in advance and distribute meeting minutes within 24 hours after meetings. • Track project budgets and financials using EPMO tools. • Maintain decision logs, action items, stakeholder registers, and deliverable approval matrices. • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resource changes through formal review and approval processes. • Ensure completion and approval of Deliverable Expectation Documents (DEDs) and Deliverable Acceptance Forms (DAFs). • Conduct lessons-learned sessions and prepare final project closeout reports. Requirements • Active PMP certification — mandatory. • Completed HIPAA training — mandatory. • Demonstrated experience managing projects and maintaining project management documentation. • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience with project scheduling, risk/issue management, financial tracking, and deliverable management. • Familiarity with EPMO processes and State project management tools is preferred. • Must be authorized to work in the United States and employed by the contracting company on a W2 basis. • Must be able to pass the required national criminal background check.
