About the Role We are looking for an experienced Python Data Platform Engineer to lead the productionization of a critical event-streaming platform powering customer activity data across multiple GTM and analytics systems. Key Responsibilities • Complete and productionize event-streaming services • Migrate legacy Kafka integrations to modern Eventing Platforms • Improve data quality and downstream integrations • Configure Segment destinations and validate data pipelines • Implement monitoring, alerting, retries, and DLQs • Lead production cutover, documentation, and knowledge transfer Requirements • Strong Python Development • Experience with Kafka & Event-Driven Architectures • Knowledge of Segment / Customer Data Platforms (CDP) • Experience with Snowflake & SQL • Familiarity with Protobuf & Event Versioning • GraphQL Integration skills • Kubernetes (K8s) experience • Go/Golang (Code Analysis) skills • Understanding of Monitoring, Observability & Distributed Systems • Salesforce, Amplitude, Inflection Integration experience Ideal candidates have experience owning complex platform migrations, streaming data systems, and delivering unfinished projects into production.
