About the Role We are seeking a Python Data Platform Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining data platforms using Python and related technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement data pipelines using Kafka and pub/sub architectures • Work with Protobuf schemas and manage schema evolution • Integrate with Customer Data Platforms like Segment • Analyze and understand existing code written in Go • Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL and Snowflake Requirements • Strong knowledge of Kafka and experience with pub/sub architectures • Experience with Protobuf schemas, schema evolution, and event versioning • Experience with Segment or similar Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) • Working knowledge of Go sufficient to understand and analyze existing code • Strong SQL and Snowflake experience for data validation and reconciliation
