About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Rust Developer with strong Python development skills and hands-on Bioinformatics / Genomics experience. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement high-performance, memory-safe, and concurrent applications • Work with MongoDB, SQL/RDBMS, and database performance tuning • Develop production-ready applications with robust testing and debugging • Apply expertise in Bioinformatics and genomic data processing Requirements • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong expertise in Rust and Python • Experience building high-performance, memory-safe, and concurrent applications • Strong knowledge of MongoDB, SQL/RDBMS, database design, and performance tuning • Experience with software testing, debugging, and production-ready application development • Hands-on experience with Bioinformatics and genomic data • Knowledge of genomic file formats: FASTQ, BAM, CRAM, and VCF • Experience with variant calling algorithms and short-read / long-read sequencing technologies • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field Must-Have: Practical Bioinformatics / Genomics experience along with strong Rust and Python skills.
