About the Role We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Architect to join our client on a fully remote freelance contract. This role requires strong expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud architecture and customer data integration. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement end-to-end Salesforce Data Cloud architecture aligned with business and technical requirements • Define data ingestion and integration strategies for structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise sources • Configure data streams, data lake objects (DLOs), data model objects (DMOs), and data mapping within Salesforce Data Cloud • Design and implement identity resolution rulesets to create unified customer profiles • Develop segmentation strategies and enable real-time customer data activation across Salesforce applications and external platforms • Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other enterprise systems • Define data governance, security, privacy, and data quality standards • Optimize data processing, harmonization, and activation performance • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate customer data requirements into scalable technical solutions • Provide architectural guidance, technical documentation, and best-practice recommendations • Troubleshoot complex integration and data-related issues and support implementation teams throughout the delivery lifecycle Requirements • Proven experience as a Salesforce Data Cloud Architect or Senior Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud implementation and architecture • Expertise in data modeling, data ingestion, data mapping, identity resolution, and unified customer profiles • Experience with customer segmentation, calculated insights, and data activation • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform integrations and APIs • Experience integrating data from multiple systems and external data sources • Understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and customer data management • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote, international project environment
