About the Role We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team for a 12-month contract-to-hire position. This role involves designing, coding, and testing new Windows and web software applications, as well as enhancing existing systems. Key Responsibilities • Gather and analyze requirements from various users • Utilize established development tools including ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET • Design, code, and test new Windows and web software applications • Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives and identifying areas for modification and improvement • Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies • Write reports on adoption of new technology • Create problem prevention strategies for projects • Create project documents such as project definition documents, business requirements, and functional specifications • Analyze and design solutions to meet requirements, develop applications, and work with quality assurance teams • Provide system training for administrative, professional, and staff • Assist business areas in identifying and determining business direction and potential areas of improvement • Work with business users on the design, testing, and implementation of solutions • Work with third-party vendors Requirements • 3-5 years of hands-on leadership in design, architecture, implementation, and deployment of application solution platforms • Previous experience working with users developing business requirements • Ability to install and maintain a variety of computer hardware and software • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems • Ability to perform research • Ability to produce web pages and presentations • Skill in editing and in reading comprehension and proofreading • Ability to facilitate discussions and challenge the process • Solid knowledge of project management and the software development life cycle • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to work with minimal supervision • Salesforce Certified Admin certification • Salesforce Platform Developer certification
