About the Role We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst – Project Lead to support statewide security incident response and Tier 2 Security Operations Center (SOC) activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in security monitoring, threat detection, incident investigation, and response, along with strong knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework. Key Responsibilities • Monitor and correlate security events across SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms. • Investigate suspicious activities, validate incidents, identify root causes, and escalate critical threats to Tier 3. Requirements • 2+ years of experience in security monitoring and incident response. • 2+ years of experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework. • 2+ years of experience in dashboard creation and security reporting. • 2 years of experience supporting large-scale SOC operations. Preferred Skills • Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM / XDR • Linux administration and network administration/design • Firewall and VPN administration • Active Directory and IDS/IPS technologies • CISSP, CISA, CISO, CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or other relevant security certifications
