About the Role We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team for a 12-month contract starting October 26. This role focuses on application development security and AWS security practices. Key Responsibilities • Implement and maintain AWS security services including IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, KMS, and CloudTrail • Develop security automation using Python/Go and DevSecOps practices • Manage vulnerability assessments and API security • Respond to security incidents and implement CI/CD security automation • Utilize Terraform/CloudFormation for infrastructure security Requirements • 13+ years of experience in security engineering • Strong AWS Security expertise (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, KMS, CloudTrail) • Hands-on Python/Go development skills • Experience with DevSecOps, Terraform/CloudFormation, and CI/CD security automation • Knowledge of vulnerability management, API security, and incident response • Excellent communication skills Note: Candidates must be local to Irvine, Orange County, or nearby areas and available for on-site work 4–5 days per week.
