About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer – Digital Assets to build secure backend infrastructure for an institutional digital asset custody platform. This role focuses on secure wallet infrastructure, blockchain integrations, cryptographic framework implementation, and resilient backend services. Key Responsibilities • Develop secure backend services for digital asset custody and transaction processing • Implement and integrate secure wallet infrastructure and blockchain connectivity • Apply secure coding practices, threat modeling, and cryptographic frameworks • Build secure communication mechanisms between distributed systems • Collaborate with cryptographers and engineering teams to implement security-sensitive solutions • Improve the reliability, scalability, and security of digital asset infrastructure Requirements • 7+ years of backend software engineering experience • 4+ years of strong programming experience in Rust (preferred), Go, or C/C++ • Experience building secure, production-grade backend applications • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and threat modeling • Knowledge of blockchain technology and digital assets • Experience with cryptographic libraries such as OpenSSL or equivalent • Understanding of digital wallets, blockchain transactions, and transaction flows • Experience building reliable backend services and secure system integrations
