About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and Managing General Agent (MGA) expertise to support the implementation of Sure Commercial. Key Responsibilities • Gather and document business requirements from MGA stakeholders and underwriters. • Translate requirements into user stories, functional specifications, workflows, and Sure Commercial configurations. • Conduct fit-gap analysis and define configuration and integration requirements. • Support underwriting, appetite, eligibility, rating, quote, bind, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. • Define broker submission and submission-to-bind workflows. • Coordinate integrations with rating engines, carriers, brokers, accounting, and downstream systems. • Develop acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rules. • Support SIT, UAT, defect analysis, and business sign-off. • Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders. Requirements • 8+ years of Business Analysis experience with significant Commercial P&C insurance expertise. • Strong understanding of the MGA business model and end-to-end underwriting lifecycle. • Experience with MGAs, specialty insurers, program administrators, or delegated underwriting organizations. • Knowledge of commercial underwriting, appetite, eligibility, rating, quote/bind, and policy transactions. • Experience with commercial insurance platforms and implementation projects. • Strong skills in requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation. • Experience with configuration, SIT, UAT, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
