About the Role We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join a multinational telecommunications company in Maadi. This role involves building high-throughput, low-latency systems and working with various technologies in a production environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement high-performance C++ systems for packet processing and real-time protocol state machines • Develop and maintain tools using Python for test automation and operational scripts • Optimize memory management, lock-free data structures, and CPU cache performance • Manage CMake build systems and Conan package management • Debug and maintain C++ services running in Docker containers • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Atlassian Bamboo • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and Terraform • Work with Napatech packet capture hardware and APIs • Conduct unit and integration testing for microservices • Translate technical specifications into production-ready implementations Requirements • 6–8 years of experience as a C++ Engineer • Strong mastery of C/C++ (C++14 minimum) • Experience with packet processing, real-time protocol state machines, or embedded network applications • Proficiency in Python for tooling and test automation • Expertise in memory management, lock-free data structures, and CPU cache optimization • Experience with CMake build systems and Conan package management • Familiarity with Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines • Infrastructure-as-code experience with Ansible and/or Terraform • Hands-on experience with Napatech packet capture hardware • Strong unit and integration testing skills • Ability to use AI assistants for code generation and documentation • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
