About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the target-state architecture, blueprint design, and modernization of an enterprise cloud-native data platform in the healthcare/insurance domain. Key Responsibilities • Lead target-state architecture and blueprint design for cloud-native data platforms • Modernize enterprise data infrastructure with focus on governance and security • Architect data layers to support analytics, BI, and AI/ML consumption • Implement data lakehouse patterns and integration strategies • Optimize Snowflake architecture including Snowpark, warehouse optimization, and performance tuning Requirements • Proven track record defining target-state data architectures and blueprints • Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake (Snowpark, warehouse optimization, data sharing, clustering) • Strong background architecting end-to-end data platforms on Microsoft Azure • Solid foundation in enterprise data governance, lineage, classification, RBAC, masking, and compliance • Experience with modern ELT pipelines and cloud data services • Must be locally based in Northern California (Bay Area / Sacramento region) and able to work onsite 2 days per week
