About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator with strong expertise in IBM DB2 for z/OS, mainframe database administration, and enterprise database infrastructure. The selected candidate will support database administration, architecture, performance optimization, disaster recovery, and operational activities across DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and GIS environments. Key Responsibilities • Perform daily database administration and operational support • Design, implement, and optimize database structures and schemas • Monitor and tune database performance • Support database upgrades, maintenance, backup, and recovery • Conduct SQL code reviews and maintain technical documentation • Support disaster recovery and infrastructure change management • Collaborate with technical teams and mentor junior staff Requirements • 12+ years of combined database administration experience with DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, and Oracle • Advanced DB2 for z/OS administration, performance tuning, upgrades, and catalog maintenance • DB2 for z/OS point-in-time recovery and application integration • Strong expertise in JCL, ISPF, and z/OS environments • CA GEN model management and application object support • Experience with ASG Scheduler, COBOL, and mainframe monitoring tools • Knowledge of RACF, CICS, IOF, and disaster recovery • Oracle and SQL Server database administration • Experience with z/OS started tasks and infrastructure implementation • Working knowledge of Windows Server, SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, and Azure • Familiarity with IBI z/OS, AFOPER, z/OS EXITs, and BJS • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Must be available to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida • Flexibility to work between 7 AM and 7 PM and/or Saturdays, including on-call support
