About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Golang Developer / Backend Architect with deep expertise in Go, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architecture. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable production backend systems • Develop Go (Golang) microservices in production • Ensure strong expertise in Go concurrency, goroutines, channels, performance profiling, testing, and error handling • Apply deep knowledge of distributed microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, resilience patterns, and eventual consistency • Influence technical strategy across multiple teams and mentor senior engineers • Utilize strong production experience with distributed tracing, logging, monitoring, SLOs, and incident response • Leverage expertise in SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including query optimization, indexing, transactions, and schema migrations • Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms, preferably AWS • Apply strong knowledge of Go testing, static analysis, integration testing, and contract testing • Leverage AI tools for software development, code reviews, and testing Requirements • 12+ years of experience building and scaling production backend systems • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Go (Golang) microservices in production • Strong expertise in Go concurrency, goroutines, channels, performance profiling (pprof), testing, and error handling • Deep knowledge of distributed microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, resilience patterns, and eventual consistency • Experience influencing technical strategy across multiple teams and mentoring senior engineers • Strong production experience with distributed tracing, logging, monitoring, SLOs, and incident response • Expertise in SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including query optimization, indexing, transactions, and schema migrations • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms, preferably AWS • Strong knowledge of Go testing, static analysis, integration testing, and contract testing • Experience leveraging AI tools for software development, code reviews, and testing
